Founded in 1944, in a small pastry shop on Viale Monza in Milan, the enterprising Angelo Vergani started his own bakery. Now, Vergani is celebrated for its traditional panettone and other holiday treats.

Based on the traditional recipe, this Italian Christmas cake is made with, flour, butter, fresh egg yolk, and natural yeast that founder Angelo Vergani created many years ago. 

Enjoy with a cup of coffee for an afternoon pick-me-up, or serve for dessert with a glass of Vin Santo.
